We are looking for a skilled Video Editor to join our team on a revenue-percentage basis.
The editor will be responsible for creating engaging, professional and fast-paced news videos suitable for social media platforms.
🎯 Responsibilities
- Edit daily news videos in a professional and engaging style
- Create smooth transitions between different news stories
- Use professional news-style transitions, stingers and loaders
- Add suitable Sound Effects (SFX) to enhance transitions and important moments
- Use background music and maintain proper audio balance
- Add Motion Graphics and animated elements
- Create animated headlines, captions, lower-thirds and text
- Use relevant images, video clips and screenshots effectively
- Add zooms, highlights, effects and other visual elements where appropriate
- Perform basic color correction and audio enhancement
- Maintain a fast-paced editing style that keeps viewers engaged
- Follow the overall visual style/branding of the news channel
- Bring creative ideas to make videos more professional and engaging
🛠️ Required Skills
- Strong experience with Adobe Premiere Pro / DaVinci Resolve / Final Cut Pro
- Good understanding of After Effects or other Motion Graphics tools
- Strong knowledge of transitions, SFX, text animation and visual effects
- Understanding of news-style video editing
- Good sense of pacing, storytelling and viewer retention
- Ability to work quickly and meet deadlines
- Creativity and attention to detail
💰 Payment
This is a Revenue Share / Percentage-Based Opportunity.
Instead of a fixed salary, the selected editor will receive an agreed percentage of the revenue generated by the content.
The percentage and other terms will be discussed and finalized with the selected candidate.
