Before I answer your questions, one important thing to flag so we're aligned from the start. The role isn't about using AI to write content or social posts. I write all of my own posts and copy myself, in my own voice, because keeping it real and human matters to me. So the ChatGPT content workflow you described is actually the one part I don't need.
What I do need is someone to run the system. I have around 25 AI assistants (Claude Projects and custom GPTs) already set up, each as a different role: contributor outreach, influencer gifting, podcast pitching, brand partnerships, follow ups, reporting, and so on. Your job would be to operate them: brief them, feed them the right targets, check their output carefully, keep it on brand, and hand me clean work to approve. You're the operator and quality control, not the writer.
To your questions:
1. AI tools: Claude Projects and custom GPTs, the roughly 25 assistants above. Fluency with building and running these is the core skill.
2. Strategy and research: the strategy is planned and I provide the podcast and magazine target list ready to go. The contributor, influencer, and brand lists do need building, and that's largely what the research robots are for, with you steering and checking them.
3. Volume: at roughly 30 hours a week I'd expect strong weekly output across all channels, in the region of 80 plus personalised pitches a week, because the robots do the heavy lifting and you supervise rather than type each one.
